NEXTENSO and CMG TELECOMMUNICATIONS sign a strategic alliance for Mobile Internet Portals

CMG Telecommunications, a world leader in wireless messaging and Internet solutions, and Nextenso, Alcatels leading new generation Internet portal software company, have signed a bilateral agreement to deliver next-generation Internet-based services to users of mobile telephones and other devices.

Under the terms of the agreement, CMG will enrich their wireless messaging and Internet solutions by building a complete portal-making offer with the Nextenso Internet portal software suite as well as with their own WAP Service Broker.

Nextenso, meanwhile, will market and distribute the CMG WAP Service Broker as part of its Mobile Pack offer. Nextenso resellers and integrators can offer their customers an even richer solution with a highly facilitated integration process.

This agreement will also allow both companies to propose a common portfolio of content providers and services, all taking advantage of the integrated solution.

CMGs solutions are based on reliable and robust technologies already proven in their Short Messaging Solution, and with Nextenso products they have now built solutions designed for targeted markets such as Mobile Network Operators, ISP/ASPs, large enterprises, value-added service providers for vertical segments and value-added service providers for consumers.

Nextenso is a rich and modular suite of applications and services for creating and managing multi-device Internet portals accessible from PCs, WAP phones, PDAs, Internet televisions, etc. Nextenso easily intregates into existing network environments, leveraging the value of portals by taking advantage of existing Internet content. Nextensos unique carrier-grade architecture responds to the markets demand for the highest quality of service and availability.

This partnership provides for a robust and fully integrated solution, allowing users of mobile devices such as WAP-enabled mobile phones to seamlessly access Internet portals anytime, anywhere, with full security. Their agreement is based on reliable technologies, proven professional services and a good knowledge of the telecommunication, enterprise and wireless Internet markets.

Denis Attal, CEO of Nextenso declared, We are pleased to sign this partnership with CMG Telecommunications. CMG has a powerful, feature-rich gateway that fully supports WAP Forum standards. Thanks to CMGs understanding of the telecom market and our own experience in this domain, we know that together we can provide a true value-added offer."

Geert Kolthof, Vice President Mobile Internet of CMG Telecommunications confirmed, adding, The combination of the CMG WAP Service Broker with the Nextenso software suite will allow us both to provide our customers with the means to create the best possible multi-device Internet portal.
