Digital Bridges partners with Rage Software

Paris, September 6th 2000: Digital Bridges world leaders in providing entertainment for the wireless Internet today announced a partnership deal with leading computer games publisher Rage Software. Games will be available through Digital Bridges interactive entertainment channel wirelessgames.com.

The first game to come out of the partnership will be a WAP version of Rages Internet Football Club (IFC) title. The game will be developed and hosted using the UNITY architecture created internally at Digital Bridges.

IFC is a browser-based football management game and on-line gaming community accessible through Internet-enabled devices via www.internetfootballclub.com.

Digital Bridges and Rage also plan to work on a further range of wireless based entertainment titles in the future.

Kevin Bradshaw, CEO of Digital Bridges, commented: We are delighted to announce Rage as the first of our publisher partners. UNITY is rapidly becoming the de facto development and delivery platform for mobile entertainment. The Rage deal proves both the strength of the UNITY platform and the attractiveness of content distribution via the wirelessgames.com channel. With a total of 8 live network operator customers and a further 16 to go live over the coming months, wirelessgames.com is proving to be a hit even with the simple content we have launched to date. Rage and Digital Bridges together will create some stunning mobile entertainment experiences.

Paul Finnegan, CEO of Rage Software, commented: We believe that there is tremendous potential for wireless based interactive entertainment in the coming years and through this partnership with Digital Bridges, we plan to fully explore and take advantage of these opportunities.

IFC will be released on wirelessgames.com for Christmas 2000. Meanwhile, up-to-the-minute information on the latest available games, as well as news and information about the world of WAP and wireless gaming can be accessed from wirelessgames.com.
