Bank Customers will access accounts whether in United States, France, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom or Germany at the cost of a local call

Paris, June 26, 2000 Société Générale, one of Frances premier banking and financial services institutions, has awarded Webtiss Technologies (www.webtiss.com) a contract to supply custom WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) Portal Solutions to its customers in six countries.

Customers of Société Générales banking services will benefit from personal account look-up, including checking and savings accounts, as well as personalized information services including stocks, traffic information and weather reports. The services, which are free to all subscribers, will be made available through WAP-enabled handsets, such as the Nokia 7110. Subscribers residing or traveling in France, the United States, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain alike will be able to access their account information at the cost of a local call.
Société Générales entry into the mobile Internet market offers the company opportunities to strengthen both its existing service offerings and its brand identity by interfacing directly with its customers in a mobile environment, regardless of the mobile operator its customers have selected.

Prime features of the service include:
· A scaleable end-to-end security solution
· International access to Webtiss Technologies Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) Services at the cost of a local call

The contract marks a new stage in the ongoing working relationship forged between the two companies since late 1999 said Laurent Joly, Director of Distance Banking Projects at Société Générale. In addition to their unquestionable technical expertise, the Webtiss Technologies team has clearly identified the critical factors associated with building a successful mobile internet strategy.

About the WAP services available through Société Générale
The personalized mobile services, which will be made available through a WAP handset, will be accessible to all Société Générales customers currently subscribing to Logitel, a Minitel service, and LogitelNet Internet services at the following address: wap.part.societegenerale.fr/web.
The initial beta test, currently underway, is being restricted to the first 2000 Société Générales customers to request the service. The trial will extend to volume subscriptions in the fourth quarter of 2000.
