Wireless Application Protocol is a specification that enables easy, fast delivery of relevant information and services to mobile users. WAP defines user interface and infrastructure requirements to bring Internet content to handheld digital wireless devices such as mobile phones, pagers, two-way radios, smartphones and wearable information appliances like the Xircom Rex®.
