AN ANGEL FREES THE WIRELESS INTERNET OPENING THE WAP GAME

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK (September 13, 1999) - Angelica Wireless - a leading provider of Wireless Internet products - is first to open the WAP technology to the Internet community at-large. Starting today, Angelica Wireless will offer free licenses of their ANGEL ONE Wireless Internet Gateway to the public. ANGEL ONE is a gateway that allows Internet application developers and small businesses to create and distribute content to a new generation of cellular phones. The gateway uses an implementation of the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) version 1.1 standard (see www.wapforum.org) to connect phones from all leading manufacturers to services hosted on the Internet. A selection of such services and the actual gateway software will be available at the Angelica Wireless web site (www.angelica.dk).

ANGEL ONE is one of many products from Angelica Wireless that are available under both Windows NT and Linux operating systems.

Angelica Wireless is a leading developer of Wireless Internet products, and has been active in WAP technology development since the foundation of the WAP Forum in 1997. AW has a strong base of expertise within the new Wireless Internet technologies; in particular in-depth knowledge of the WAP technology, detailed insight in several WAP platforms and a good understanding of the components needed to create and distribute an end-to-end Wireless Internet service. AW also runs WAPNET.COM the information site about WAP. More information: http://www.angelica.dk, http://www.wapnet.com, http://www.wap.dk.
